Crossover Artist George Komsky who's following the footsteps of the Three Tenors, Jose Carreras, Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti is expected to deliver a stunning performance at the G.O.D. Awards
Ukrainian-American tenor George Komsky is a protégé and scholarship beneficiary of world-renowned vocal teacher Seth Riggs, whose star pupils include Barbra Streisand, Josh Groban and Natalie Cole.
At an early age, Komsky was inspired by the beauty of the Bel Canto singing style immortalized by the great Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo and Tito Schipa. He started his vocal training at age 11 when his grandfather encouraged him to study with the local Cantor. Years of vocal training followed along with a trip to Italy in 2001 to perform Verdi’s Requiem at St. Paul’s Basilica in Rome.
In 2003, he secured a much sought after place in UCLA’s esteemed opera program. While in college, he worked with David Romano, the celebrated tenor from Broadway’s The Phantom of the Opera, whose tutelage allowed him to become the lead soloist for the internationally acclaimed Irish dancing phenomenon Riverdance in 2004 for its North American tour.
After graduation, Komsky starred in Dublin Worldwide Productions Twelve Irish Tenors and once again toured the US before returning to Los Angeles to further his vocal training. He was also a semi-finalist in the inaugural season of the hit TV series America’s Got Talent. After performing his rendition of the pop opera classic Caruso, lead show judge Piers Morgan commented, “You are without a doubt, the finest adult singer in this competition.”
Today, Komsky frequently tours across the United States and Europe, and continues to build his fan base, both domestically and internationally. He has performed in the US and abroad with Grammy Award-winning jazz trumpeter Chris Botti, with recent engagements in San Francisco, Napa, Tarrytown, NY, and the prestigious Blue Note Jazz Club in NYC. He touched audiences with his rendition of the National Anthem on NBC’s Sunday Night Football on Sunday, December 16th, which aired to over 20 million television viewers.
Former Mayor of Beverly Hills, Jimmy Delshad just confirmed his participation at the night of G.O.D. Awards!
Born in Shiraz, Iran, Jimmy Delshad is a beloved father, husband, son, brother and friend who proudly serves as America’s highest-ranking Iranian-American elected official as the Mayor of Beverly Hills. An award-winning entrepreneur and community leader, Delshad become mayor on March 27, 2007 when he was sworn in by Fred Hayman, the "father of Rodeo Drive."
Often described as a devoted and charismatic man with long-standing ties in the community, Jimmy Delshad is also an electrical engineer and entrepreneur with a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University at Northridge. Following this accomplishment, Delshad attended post-graduate classes at USC and also participated in the continuing education program of "The Executive Committee," a round table of CEOs, for 7 years. He embarked on a career in Computer Technology in 1965 and was fortunate enough to start his own business in 1978 in the then-new field of "Computer Storage Technology."
As an expert speaker on “storage technology,” his company's products were marketed and sold throughout the world. However, when he was elected President of Sinai Temple in 1999, Delshad chose to sell his company in order to fully devote his attention to the needs of the community and other non-profit organizations. Yet, he was not content; he felt a personal obligation to do more for the country that had given him the opportunity to live out the American dream. “I wanted to offer my experience as a successful business owner, as a technologist and as a member and leader of many non-profit organizations not only to help our city face new challenges, but also to open doors for others who would see me as an example and feel more comfortable about joining us and getting more involved,” Delshad says. As a result, Jimmy Delshad ran for City Council in 2003 and successfully took office as a Councilmember.
Though he is a native Iranian, Delshad considers America his home and safe haven, persistently expressing gratitude to his country for truly being the land of opportunity. After first winning election to the City Council in 2003, Delshad wrote “I did not seek to serve on the City Council out of a sense of national or ethnic pride. Instead, I felt I owed a debt to this City and this country that welcomed me and allowed me to use my talents to build a successful life.”
Mayor Delshad has resided in the Los Angeles area for 48 years and has lived in the City of Beverly Hills for the past 18 years. He has been married for 38 years to Lonnie Gerstein Delshad. They are blessed with two children: Debra, a graduate of USC and Loyola Law School and Daniel, a computer businessman and graduate of USC.
On March 27, 2007, the Mayor took office and announced his main ambition of making Beverly Hills “safest and smartest” community in America. He plans to improve Beverly Hills’ technological capabilities by placing surveillance cameras on various neighborhood streets to report to local police activities that range from traffic violations to theft to injury. Such innovations also include the Automatic License Plate Recognition Device that scans car license plates and can wirelessly report any stolen car in milliseconds. Through his traveling to sites including Israel, London, and Paris, Delshad has come to believe that a new, intelligent "forensic and analytical" software could and should be implemented in the city of Beverly Hills. Such sophisticated technology can detect whether a package has been left unattended, if a person has fallen down, or even if an unrecognized object such as weaponry is present. "These cameras will make us an example for homeland security for cities across America," he states. Moreover, he plans to install intelligent irrigation systems, reusing “Gray Water” and wireless water meters to conserve and monitor water use for public parks and private purposes. In order to deal with one of the city's thorniest quality-of-life issues, he wants to install new, mini-parking meters that accept dollar bills and credit cards and allow people to use their cell phones to reserve additional time.

Jeffrey R. Gund, the CEO & Founder of INFOLIST.com an Entertainment Industry information on Jobs, Opportunities, and Events was just announced as the "Hollywood Power Mover" by the G.O.D. Awards.
Jeffrey is also an award winning composer and sound designer with over a decade of experience working on high profile projects including award winning films, hundreds of episodes of primetime television, and top selling video games with companies such as Paramount, Disney, Fox, New Line, and Orion Pictures, and has written and produced songs for Grammy nominated recording artists.
About Jeffrey Gund:
I enjoy helping people and giving back, which is what my website http://www.infolist.com/ is all about - something that started as just helping a few friends who were out of work find a job has now grown into something that helps thousands of people on a daily basis, and is growing every day! I work hard, and play harder (and sleep every now and then). My philosophy of giving more than I take has led to some truly incredible opportunities for me. While the Info List has become more than a full time job for me, my other two real full-time jobs are writing music for film/TV/video games/records, as well as writing/producing/creating films and television shows - hence the sleep every now and then. :) I've scored and done sound design for award winning films, hundreds of episodes of primetime television, top selling video games, and Grammy nominated recording artists - you can hear some samples of my work at http://www.JeffreyRGund.com/ or at http://www.reverbnation.com/jeffreyrgundmusicsounddesign
I'm Aquarius, which means there's at least 82.7 things going on in my head at any given moment - I'm creative, and philanthropist, and a leader - I have definite ideas about what I want, and where I'm going, and who I want to go there with - because of the aforementioned 82.7 things, I have little time for negative attitudes, drama, and BS - if you surround yourself with good things and positive people, then you have good experiences and great friends, even in a town like LA! :)
If you can keep up with me - you're halfway there! I have lots of energy, but in an even-keeled sort of way. I'm full of surprises - I'm easy to read, but not so easy to understand (or is it the other way around?!) There's times for big fun, and times to chill.
