![]() A special request of UK Humanitarian Ambassador and may I say WCH special request as well is for Nashville Country Singer- Collen Lloy to grace the G.O.D. Awards and render us some of her phenomenal performances in between her busy European Tour. About Colleen: I'm a native Californian that relocated to Nashville in 1999. I have been singing professionally since the age of 14 and have written and performed in the Rock n' Roll, Alternative, Americana, R&B, Pop and Country genres. Performing all throughout the U.S. and abroad, my career has taken me to the internationally known Bluebird Café, television and radio broadcasts, opening act for artists like Billy Dean, Paul Overstreet, John Berry, Lee Greenwood, George Jones, Billy Ray Cyrus, Tanya Tucker and John Anderson to name a few, and one of the highlights of my career was having the honor of interviewing Mr. BB King, the King of Blues, for a proposed television special. Another was recently returning from Maui after singing with Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac. I give back to society through my charitable causes, supporting our military groups, IPF, Pay It Forward, any Cancer Research, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, ALS Association, Supporting the Arts-Thirdcoast Broadcast and virtually any cause that I feel needs my support. Colleen Lloy Message: I became aware of We Care for Humanity through Jeannette Slavinski who is the author of the book The Naked Goddess. I donated my work called Missing You for that cause because I am a firm believer in giving back to a multitude of charitable events, especially those supporting our veteran heroes and active military men and women all over the world. I am just returning from a USO show in Italy. I am honored to be a part of this humanitarian event where people are being honored for making a difference in our world by donating their talents to uplift the spirits of so many people in need of a helping hand. I believe when you are given a talent or gift you are to share that talent with others and use it towards the benefit of uplifting as many people as you can. I have become involved in a multitude of charitable organizations such as the Red Cross, Wounded Warriors, Operation Standdown, Operation Homefront, Veterans Memorial Foundation, American Heart Association and a host of others to help offset costs to help facilitate benefitting people through various programs that are created within these organizations. We Care for Humanity demonstrates this key thought process and focuses on a multitude of worthy charitable causes and draws supporters from all over the globe to ensure that millions of people receive benefit from the charities they choose to promote. I am honored to be a part of this celebration of life and charitable works!- Colleen Lloy See her performances here: http://youtu.be/hOnpBTe0APs http://www.colleenlloy.com http://www.reverbnation.com/colleenlloy http://twitter.com/#!/colleenlloy
