About Maureen Brindle: Maureen Brindle is a poet and scriptwriter, born in the United Kingdom. The world is her inspiration. She is a member of the Poetry Society, London and has contributed poetry to the R.S.P.B Poetry Trail. Her poetry has been published in the R.A.F. & Allied Forces Chapel, St Clement Danes, London, Bi-annual Magazine. Maureen Brindle donates poems to The Naked Goddess Anthology by Jeannette Slavinski in support of Help for Heroes and Wounded Warriors Project and edits additions to The Naked Goddess. Maureen read her poem Amour in the U.K. on Radio Stations, on the occasion of H.H. Princess Maria Amor’s W. C. H. Humanitarian Ambassador G.O.D. Award to Jeannette Slavinski. Amour is included in Maureen’s book Beloved Isles, inspired by H.H. Princess Maria Amour’s We Care for Humanity’s work. Maureen Brindle also reads at charity functions. Her poetry book Beloved Isles is published in the U.S.A. and available worldwide, paperback and eBook. Her narrative poetry books for children, published in U.S.A., include Missy Cat’s Christmas Fairy with American illustrator Patricia Eichler. Her only reference is a letter from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth that she will treasure forever. The first time she read her poems on stage was in the presence of great W.W.2 humanitarian Sue Rider.
