Respectable Dato 'Sri From Malaysia Receives Humanitarian Ambassador Award at the 3rd G.O.D. Awards5/3/2015
"Dato’Sri Prof. Dr Dharmadass Damoo is noble man from a humble beginning. One of his greatest humanitarian attributes is empowering people by his counselling and lending them his ears and shoulders to cry on", explained HH Princess Maria Amor, founder and president of We Care for Humanity.
Dato’Sri Prof. Dr Dharmadass Damoo was born in Malaysia in a family of 14. He is presently The Chairman Of We Care For Humanity Malaysia Chapter. His father was an Oil Palm refinery Supervisor and was the sole bread winner for the family. His father supported the whole family, working for 12 hours a day. Although the family was very big there was ample food for the family to eat and the family always had extra food for at least four others which they feed the neighbours who are poor.Due to the hardship the family endured, they cultivated love, care and compassion for the poor and the needy. After finishing his secondary education he moved on to work in order to give opportunity for his other siblings to continue their studies. He worked in the Oil Palm Plantation sector for 46 years and rose from a Oil Palm Plantation supervisor to the position of a consultant in the Oil Palm plantation sector and finally completed his studies and Graduated as a professor in agriculture (agronomy) In the year 1984 he was awarded The ‘Fellowship’ Member by The International Commercial Management Institute U.K While in the plantation sector he gave free tuition to the plantation children’s , and inspired them to be devoted to god and taught them to work hard. Being a qualified councilor and motivator he counseled the plantation workers and the public and advised them on how to live a better and peaceful life, taught them to live a hygienic and healthy lifestyle. People living in the economic borderline, don’t bother about nature and the envirement. I use to see people throwing filth and rubbish into rivers wantonly without regard. I took the responsibility to talk to them the importance of clean rivers, water sources, and guarding nature. l did my part in educating people in these areas.He also went to shelter homes to counsel ,motivate and gave free tuition to those in the home. He still do counceling and motivate people who needed his free servises from around the country. He was a regular blood donor and have donated blood 54 times to the national blood bank in Malaysia and he is also a registered organ donor. He was very particular in ensuring complete education for children’s and as such he participated in the Parents and Teachers Associations and he was their Chairman for many years. He coached students to be better students and the importance of education and hard work. He also coached the poor on the importance of honest, hard work.and how important moral living is in the family institution'in the upbringing of the siblings and their childrens. Being a qualified athletic coach he had the opportunity to train all his 3 daughters to be the best junior road and long distance runners and they were also the best junior big walkers in Malaysia. For the high achievement of his daughters he was awarded as the first runners up in the sports for all family category in Malaysia in the year 2002.. All his 3 girls had won about 350 titles both in state level and national level. Even after he retired at age 55 he continued to work for the next ten years as a means to continue helping the poor with his own earnings, which he was doing even before retirement. He used to spend half his monthly income on helping the poor, handicapped and the old folks. He is the Head of representative of The World Peace committee 202 countries in Malaysia since 2013. The Country Director For Malaysia on behalf of The Multipurpose inter parliamentary union (TMIPU) since 2014.The Goodwill Ambassador For Peace And Human Rights In Malaysia For International Peace Committee For Law Justice And Human Rights since 2013. ‘Goodwill Ambassador Of Peace’ In Malaysia Appointed by the Academy Of Universal Global Peace. Member Of The Royal Society Group. Member Of Royal Elite Group and Ambassador Of Peace And Order,Royal Society Group since 2014. He Received The Dato Sri Title in 2012 and The PingatJasaKabaktian (P.J.K.) title in 2011. He also received The Degree Of Doctor Of Humanity ( Honoris Causa )From The Academy Of Universal Global Peace on 21st March,2014. These awards were given to him in recognition of his contribution to sports ,social work and his involvement in voluntary work in various organization in Malaysia and countries abroad where he was counseling and motivating other ambassadors whom he knows locally and abroad.

He has done Art Exhibitions in countries like Russia, Dubai, Mexico, Iran, and USA. Soroush often collaborates with various non-profit organizations and contribute his talents and skills for the benefit of the underprivileged children.
