​United Nations, New York- The much awaited 3 day-flagship events of We Care for Humanity (WCH), the 3rd WCH Humanitarian Summit and 4th Global Officials of Dignity Awards culminated with great triumph last August 19, 2016 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York with unprecedented array of honorees, speakers, presenters, performers and VIP guests from around the world! The said events were graciously hosted by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Benin to the United Nations.
 
Among the big names and personalities who graced the event were His Highness Prince Faisal Al Saud-member of the House of Saud of KSA, His Excellency Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka- immediate former Vice President of Kenya, Her Excellency Rosalia Arteaga Serrano- Former President and Vice President of Ecuador, His Excellency Khil Raj Regmi, Former Prime Minister and Chief Justice of Nepal, Binod Chaudhary- the first and only Billionaire of Nepal, His Excellency Ambassador Jean Francis Zinsou- Permanent Representative of the Republic of Benin to the United Nations and many representatives from the UN and UN Women, office of Hon. Senator Kevin Parker and Hon. Senator David Carlucci.
 
H.H. Princess Maria Amor Torres, founder and president of WCH and the creator and chairman of the Global Officials of Dignity Awards announced, “This year marks the 4th anniversary of Global Officials of Dignity awards event.  I am proud of how far this organization has grown but there is still much work ahead for all of us.” She continues, “How fitting that our location for tonight’s awards gala is in the United Nations building, which represents global cooperation. Every person present tonight is a hero, someone who has passion, courage, and determination. Every honored individual has made a difference on humanity in the areas of human rights, peace, environment, education, health & wellness, and empowering those who are less fortunate. I congratulate the 2016 G.O.D. Awards Honorees!”.

The awards also recognized His Highness Prince Dah Djissa Houetchenou, Prime Minister of the King of Benin and Her Highness Princess Pulcherie Simpson the Amazon Princess Of Abomey, Benin for their humanitarian contributions to their people.
 
World class performances were the highlights of the evening starting with Frank Haye and the Brooklyn Interdenominational Choir, direct from Switzerland- Angelo Borer and the Crazy Feet Company, soprano Rachel Hippert, legendary headliners- Alston Koch and Morris Hayes and R & B singer- Ida Divine.
 
Awards were presented by Chief Guest- Prince Faisal, H.H. Prince Arthur Louis Pagan and HH Princess Edith Ortiz of the Diplomatic Residence of the House of Homestead, Nubiasian Princess, Her Highness Sirene Harakawa’Ra, Dr. Ken Hansraj, Ben Lai, Ambassador Anthony Chima, Bishop Joy Theriot, Rev. Dileepkumar Thankappan, the delegation of the OSJ Knights of Malta- Sir Norbert Chung, Sir Dr. Murthy Gokula, Sir Col. Wilson Ariza, Sir Dr. Dan Carlin, Sir Jared Dubey and Sir Barry Didato.
 
Harmonizing with United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), the 3rd WCH Humanitarian Summit successfully executed its 2-day conference with an outstanding list of Speakers under the theme “Sustainable Innovations Towards Sustainable Humanitarianism”. On Health panel: Stephen Shaya, MD, Barry Didato, Murthy Gokula, MD, Ken Hansraj, MD, Mahsood Khatamee, MD, Anita Kapur, MD, Amb. Tony Chima. On Education panel: H.E. On Human Rights Panel: H.E. Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, Ravi Karakara, H.E. Kihil Raj Regmi, George Abang Tawoh. On Green Environment Panel: Professor Dr. Gregory Payne, Llilac Diaz. On Eradication of Poverty panel: H.H. Prince Faisal Al Saud, Mr. Binod Chaudhary, H.E. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, H.E. Rosalia Arteaga, H.E. Khil Raj Regmi, Barry Didato, Uwaifu Aromose. On Youth and Women Empowerment: Yongmin Shin, Junko Ishikawa, the DICE members, Monica Sanchez. The Summit was moderated by John L. German, Ravi Karkara and Daniel Oh.

The said persons have no further tie-ups nor business relations or whatsoever with any of WCH officers, members, programs and especially its founder and president, Maria Amor Torres.

The said persons tie-ups with WCH Flagship event, the Global Officials of Dignity Awards in 2013 and 2014 as honorees were REVOKED last August 2015.

Princess Maria Amor, founder and president of We Care for Humanity (WCH) announced Dr. Binod Chaudhary as the 4th Global Officials of Dignity  Awards' Asian Man of the Year.

Binod is a Nepalese businessman, industrialist and philanthropist. He is the current chairman of Chaudhary Group (CG), a conglomerate that consists of nearly 100 companies. He is also the first, and only, Nepali billionaire as listed by Forbes.

"I have known Mr. Binod Chaudhary for a while and I am a witness to his endless philanthropic work around the world. What is great about him is he keeps reinventing and progressing in business as well as in philanthropy. His legacy is evident through his family, friends and global advocacies", proudly said by Princess Maria Amor. "We are very honored to confer the Asian Man of the Year to Binod Chaudhary, a true global icon for universal humanitarianism", she continues.


Chaudhary will be honored at the 4th G.O.D. Awards and scheduled to speak at the 3rd WCH Humanitarian Summit on August 17-19, 2016 at the Delegates Dining Room, United Nations Headquarters, New York.
